Terms of Use and Service
Last updated: July 24, 2026
1. Who we are
PerfectText (the "Service", the "Platform") is a web application available at https://perfecttext.net that generates and verifies photographs intended to meet the official requirements of identity documents, passports and visas, based on images provided by the user. The Service is owned and operated by MONETIZANDO TU PASION LTD (the "Company"), Efesou 9, 5280 Paralimni, Cyprus, which acts as merchant of record: it provides the Service, manages the contractual relationship and processes payments. You can reach us at support@perfecttext.net.
IMPORTANT: PerfectText is a private, independent service. We do NOT issue or process official documents and we have no affiliation with any government body, embassy or document-issuing authority. We generate photographs designed to meet official requirements, but final acceptance of a photograph rests solely with the authority to which it is submitted.
2. The Service
You select the document type, upload a photo or take one with your camera, and the Platform crops it to the official size, adjusts the framing and background, and verifies compliance with the document's requirements using an artificial-intelligence vision system. Our team may additionally review photographs by hand. Once your photo passes validation you receive a digital photograph ready for download and a printable template for standard photo paper.
- Digital photo sized to the official specification of the selected document (for the US passport, 2×2 inches / 600×600 px).
- Printable 4×6 inch (10×15 cm) template ready for any photo print service.
- Automatic compliance checks (face position, background, lighting, expression and related requirements).
- Access to your photos from your personal area at /mis-fotos.
3. Accounts and access
Access to your personal area works with your email address, either with a password or with a single-use access link (magic link) sent to your inbox. You are responsible for the security of your email account and for the activity carried out through your account, and you agree to provide truthful information.
You declare that you are of legal age. If you submit the photograph of a minor (for example for a child's passport), you confirm that you are the minor's parent or legal guardian or that you have sufficient authorisation to process the minor's image.
4. Prices, trial and subscription
The Service is offered as an introductory trial followed by a subscription. The exact price, trial length and what is included are always shown on the checkout screen before you confirm payment. There are no hidden charges: recurring charges only arise from the subscription you expressly accept at checkout.
- Trial: a reduced one-off price (currently $0.99) gives you access to the Service for the trial period shown at checkout (currently 7 days).
- Subscription: unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts automatically at the monthly price shown at checkout (currently $49.99/month) and renews every month until cancelled.
- Cancellation: you can cancel at any time from your personal area (/mis-fotos → account). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; you keep access until that date and no further charges are made.
- Prices are charged in US dollars (USD). Applicable taxes, where any, are included in the price shown.
Payment is processed through Stripe's embedded checkout in an encrypted environment compliant with payment-industry security standards (PCI-DSS). Your card details are collected directly by Stripe; we only store provider identifiers or tokens, never your full card data.
5. Delivery of digital content
Once your photograph passes validation, the Company makes the digital photograph and the print template available for immediate download from your personal area and/or by email. The Service consists of digital content only; nothing is physically shipped.
6. Withdrawal and refunds
Where consumer law grants you a withdrawal period for distance purchases, you acknowledge that by requesting immediate access to digital content you expressly consent to immediate performance, and that once the download or access to your generated photograph has begun you lose the right of withdrawal in respect of that content, to the extent permitted by the law of your country of residence.
Independently of the above, our Money-Back Policy (/legal/money-back) describes when we refund your purchase — in particular if we are unable to produce a compliant photograph for you. A refund does not automatically cancel your subscription: cancel it from your personal area or ask us at support@perfecttext.net.
7. Compliance warranty and its limits
Our validation aims to ensure your photograph meets the published technical requirements of the selected document. However, the final validity and acceptance of a photograph depend exclusively on the issuing authority; the Company does not and cannot guarantee such acceptance. If a photograph validated by us is rejected by the authority, contact us and we will produce a new one or refund you under the Money-Back Policy.
8. Acceptable use
- Use the Service lawfully and in accordance with these Terms.
- Only submit images you have the right to use, with the consent of the person photographed where required.
- Do not impersonate identities, forge documents or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Do not copy, resell or commercially exploit the Platform's software or content.
- You are solely responsible for the use you make of the photograph obtained and you will hold the Company harmless against third-party claims arising from your use.
9. Automated verification and liability
Automatic verification uses artificial-intelligence vision systems and is provided "as is" within a standard of reasonable care; it may require you to retake a photo when minimum requirements are not met. You have the right to request human intervention in respect of automated verification in accordance with data-protection law — our team can review your photo by hand on request.
The Company's total liability for any claim arising from the Service is capped at the amount you actually paid for the affected service. The Company is not liable for indirect damages, lost profit or lost opportunity (for example, travel costs derived from a rejected document application). Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that consumer law does not allow to be waived.
10. Intellectual property and your photos
The Platform's software, technology, design, texts and trade marks (excluding the images you provide) are owned by the Company or its licensors. You retain ownership of the photographs you provide and of the photographs produced for you; you grant the Company a limited, non-exclusive and temporary licence to process them strictly to provide the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy (/legal/privacy).
11. Data protection
The processing of your personal data — including your photograph, which may constitute biometric data — is governed by our Privacy Policy (/legal/privacy) and our Cookie Policy (/legal/cookies).
12. Changes, termination and general terms
The Company may amend these Terms, particularly for regulatory or technical changes, by publishing the current version with its update date; amendments apply to contracts made after publication. The Company may suspend or terminate access in the event of breach of these Terms or fraudulent or abusive use. If any provision is found void, the remainder stays in force. These Terms, the Legal Notice and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement. The English version prevails over any translation.
13. Applicable law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence, which remain unaffected. You may bring proceedings before the courts of your own domicile where consumer law so provides. For any question or complaint, write to support@perfecttext.net — we answer every message.
