1. Data controller

2. Data we process, purpose and legal basis

Your card details are collected and stored by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
3. The content of your text
The text you submit may contain personal data if you choose to include it. We process it solely to produce the rewrite you asked for and, where a detection provider is connected, to measure the result. We do not use it to train any model of ours, and we do not sell it. Unpaid results are deleted automatically when the on-screen period expires — both the result and the text you submitted. Please avoid submitting special-category data (health, beliefs, political opinions) or data about third parties that you are not entitled to share.
4. Automated processing and human review
The rewrite and the AI-probability measurement are automated. They produce a text and a score; they make no decision about you, grant or deny you nothing, and have no legal effect on you, so they do not constitute automated decision-making within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR. Even so, you may ask a person to review any result by writing to support@perfecttext.net.

6. International transfers
Where processing takes place outside the European Economic Area (for example Stripe, Resend, or the model and detection providers we use), transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for certified providers and/or Standard Contractual Clauses with supplementary measures. Particular care is applied to the text you submit, which is sent to those providers only for the time strictly needed to produce and measure the rewrite.
7. Retention and deletion
Unpaid results are deleted automatically when the period shown on screen expires; the text you submitted is deleted with them. Unlocked texts are kept while your account or subscription is active so you can retrieve them at any time. You can request deletion of your texts and your account whenever you wish by writing to support@perfecttext.net, and we act on it without undue delay. Billing records are kept for the period required by tax and accounting law.
8. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures: access to a result requires the anonymous session that created it or the account that paid for it, account access via password or single-use magic links, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access limited to the staff who need it.
9. Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to support@perfecttext.net. If you are in the European Union you may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority; in Cyprus, the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection.
10. Minors
The Service is not directed at minors and is not intended to be used by them. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, write to support@perfecttext.net and we will delete it.
11. Advertising and communications
If you arrive through one of our ads, we record attribution parameters (such as gclid) to measure campaigns; this measurement happens server-side and you can object at any time. We only send you the transactional emails needed for the Service (access links, text delivery, billing notices). Commercial communications, if any, would require your separate consent and always include an unsubscribe option.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect regulatory or service changes. The current version, with its date, is always published on this page.
