Privacy Policy

1. Data controller
The controller of the personal data processed through https://perfecttext.net is MONETIZANDO TU PASION LTD, Efesou 9, 5280 Paralimni, Cyprus. For any privacy matter, including the exercise of your rights, contact support@perfecttext.net.
2. Data we process, purpose and legal basis
| Data | Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Photograph (original and processed) | Generation and automated verification of your document photo | Explicit consent and performance of the contract |
| Email address and name | Account access, delivery of your photos, transactional messages, billing | Performance of the contract |
| IP address and device data | Security, fraud and abuse prevention, aggregate statistics | Legitimate interest |
| Referrer, gclid and UTM parameters | Attribution of advertising campaigns | Legitimate interest |
| Language preference | Showing the Service in your language | Legitimate interest / preferences |
| Payment identifiers (Stripe tokens) | Charging the trial and the subscription | Performance of the contract |
Your card details are collected and stored by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
3. Your photograph (biometric data)
The photograph of your face may constitute special-category biometric data. We process it exclusively to generate your document photo and to verify automatically that it meets the official requirements, on the basis of your explicit consent — requested before processing — and the performance of the contract. Your photo is analysed with Amazon Web Services (Amazon Rekognition) computer-vision technology; this involves processing in the United States with the safeguards described in section 6.
4. Automated decisions and human review
Photo compliance verification runs automatically and may affect you by rejecting a photo and asking you to retake it. You have the right to obtain human intervention, to express your point of view and to contest the decision: our team reviews photographs by hand as part of the Service and you can always request a manual review at support@perfecttext.net.
5. Processors and recipients
| Provider | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Payments and subscriptions | USA / EU |
| Amazon Web Services (Rekognition, S3) | Photo verification and storage | USA / EU |
| OVHcloud | Hosting and database | EU |
| Resend | Transactional email delivery | USA / EU |
| Google Ads | Advertising measurement (when you arrive from our ads) | USA |
6. International transfers
Where processing takes place in the United States (Stripe, Amazon Web Services, Resend, Google), transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for certified providers and/or Standard Contractual Clauses with supplementary measures. Particular care is applied to the processing of photographs by our vision provider.
7. Retention and deletion
We keep your photographs and account data while your account or subscription is active so you can access your photos at any time. You can request the deletion of your photographs and your account whenever you wish by writing to support@perfecttext.net, and we will delete both the files and the records, subject only to the data we must keep under commercial and tax law (for example invoicing records).
8. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures: private photo storage with temporary signed links, access to orders through high-entropy tokens, account access via password or single-use magic links, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access limited to staff and providers who need it to provide the Service.
9. Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to support@perfecttext.net. If you are in the European Union you may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority; in Cyprus, the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection.
10. Minors
The Service can process photographs of minors (for example for a child's passport) only with the consent of their parents or guardians. By submitting a minor's photograph you declare that you are the minor's parent or guardian or that you have sufficient authorisation.
11. Advertising and communications
If you arrive through one of our ads, we record attribution parameters (such as gclid) to measure campaigns; this measurement happens server-side and you can object at any time. We only send you the transactional emails needed for the Service (access links, photo delivery, billing notices). Commercial communications, if any, would require your separate consent and always include an unsubscribe option.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect regulatory or service changes. The current version, with its date, is always published on this page.
